Angelo D'Agostino, S.J. M.D. from Kenya,
Africa, founder and director of
Nyumbani, a non-profit, charitable organization
that assists and supports the
children of Africa left homeless or destitute because of HIV/AIDS virus. Rev. D'Agostino will
speak about the pandemic affecting sub-Saharan Africa, an area hardest
hit by
the virus.
Nyumbani is a multi-faceted ministry, with a Diagnostic
Laboratory, many children's residences and an outreach program,
Lea Toto, that
ministers in the slums of the areas in need.

D'Agostino has recently been honored by the National Center for Missing
and Exploited Children at the Third Annual Hope Ceremony in Washington D.C.
