Dr. Haught served as the chair of Georgetown Department of Theology from 1990-1995.  His teaching and research focuses on issues of science and religion, cosmology and theology and religion and ecology.  He is the author of many books:  Deeper Than Darwin:  The Prospect for Religion in the Age of Evolution;  Responses to 101 Questions on God and Evolution; God After Darwin:  A Theory of Evolution;  Science and Religion:  From Conflict to Conversation and many, many more.
