Education Program Overview |
The impetus for the Adult Faith Formation and Education
Program at Holy Trinity in a multidimensional and multifaceted
society
is driven by the widespread spiritual quest for meaning and deeper
knowledge of a personal God.
Holy Trinity Adult Education offers opportunities for faith development, education
and spiritual formation through the Sunday Adult Education Lecture
Series, the Tuesday evening book discussions, Scripture studies,
an online education program, the Coming Home program and periodic
workshops.
The programs are supported by The William J. Byron,
S.J. Fund for Adult Education.
- The Sunday Adult Lecture Series brings speakers of local, national and international
note discussing topics on scripture, spirituality, moral issues, psychological
and health topics, and issues of current importance.
- Book Discussion Groups, facilitated by Rev. Pat Earl, S.J., allow participants
time to listen to and share reflections on the provocative book selections.
- The evening Scripture Study Program, taught by Rev. Pat Earl, S.J., provides
participants with background, commentaries and group reflections on different
books in the bible.
- Coming Home is a program for returning Catholics, but open to all Catholics
who wish to update knowledge of their faith. The program is facilitated by a
wonderfully formed and knowledgeable team.
