Contemplative Prayer
|
Each Saturday morning, we will be invited to be open to the Presence of God with simplicity and in quiet. We will introduce a way of being present to God, which has been passed onto us through the centuries by contemplatives such as St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Benedict, St. Teresa of Avila. Our invitation is to become more aware of being in God’s Presence in the here and now of our daily lives by:
Praying with Scripture
Praying with our Experiences
The Jesus Prayer
Centering Prayer
Praying with Icons
Praying with our Imagination
Praying with Intercessions
