Adult Faith Education
Speaker and Reflection Series:
Welcoming the Stranger
Supported in part by the William J. Byron, S.J. Fund for Adult Education

We often recognize the strangers in our midst, but we have much to learn about them—the immigrant, the scholarship child, the elderly, the handicapped, the veteran, the prisoner, or simply the person next to us in church who we do not know. Our response to an encounter with a stranger is often muted. We don’t know how to reach out or even to think about another person as Christ would.

As we continue to build community here at Holy Trinity and reach out to the poor and marginalized in our community, we invite you to explore what God calls you to be.

Join us in the journey this Fall as we listen to 3 different presentations. Each week following the speaker, we will prayerfully reflect on what we have heard and explore how we may be called to respond. Continue this journey with us into Lent as we explore Christ in Our Midst.
