January 18-25, 2010 is the annual observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  The theme chosen for this year is “You are witnesses of these things” (Luke: 24-28).  During this week – and throughout the year – Christians everywhere join in praying “that they may all be one” as Jesus prayed at the Last Supper.  For more information go to: www.geii.org/wpcu_index.htm.

The churches of Georgetown will celebrate an Ecumenical prayer service at 7 pm on January 20 at Epiphany Church, 2712 Dumbarton St., NW.  All are invited to participate  as we pray to be united with all our Christian brothers and sisters.
